Feb 4 2005	FRENCH DAY I am sure you are aware that the KS2 children have started to learn some French. On Friday 4th February we are gong to have a French Day. In preparation for this our KS2 children will prepare a letter to send to the primary school at our twin town in Savigne l'Eveque, which is near Le Mans. Plans are at an early stage. I will let you know as soon as we have finalised details for the day itself.

Feb 4 2005	FRENCH EVENING This night there will be a French evening for adults, organised jointly by The Friends of School and Caistor Twinning. Tickets are available at £6.00 each, this includes a 3 course meal and lively entertainment. Tickets are available from members of Friends of the School (or ask at reception)

Nov 12 2004	HOUSE TEAM COMPETITION We have always had house teams on sports day. We would like to extend competitions throughout the year. The emphasis will be on participation. Children will gain a point for their house automatically by participating in an event. This term we are going to have draughts and a speed typing competition. We will get the ball rolling on this date in the afternoon with a cross country competition. Children do not have to take part. There will be extra points for the first few children across the line in each year. There will also be points awarded to children who show great determination and exemplary sporting behavioiur. This competition will be held at 2.15pm weather permitting. you are very welcome to come and watch and cheer on the children.
